D-CRBN selected Worley for engineering services at its planned renewable syngas demonstration plant in Antwerp. Electrically powered plasma technology is intended to convert carbon dioxide and biomethane into feedstock for chemicals and fuels.

Worley will provide design and safety and cost studies supporting construction. The demonstration unit is designed for 200 tonnes annually. An approximately 10,000-tonne commercial facility mentioned in the announcement is a future scale-up target, not the demonstration unit’s capacity.
