Cascade Copper on October 15 reported final results from its first-phase drilling at the Centrefire project in Ontario: five holes totaling 600 metres. Hole CF-26-04 returned 0.42% CuEq over 122.40 metres from 6.60 metres down-hole, including 1.56% CuEq over 14.75 metres from 29.00 metres. CuEq is not a direct copper grade; it is the company’s calculation using assumed copper, gold and silver prices and recovery factors.

The company also reported a gold-bearing intersection in banded iron formation in CF-26-01. It said all five holes encountered veining and sulphide mineralization and plans a second-phase program to test continuity at depth and along strike. That follow-up is planned, not completed, and the release does not establish a mineral resource.
