BSMV exemption scope expands for specified export loans

The Trade Ministry announced that commercial-bank lending using CBRT-funded rediscount facilities was brought within the banking and insurance transactions tax exemption. The statement concerns taxation of export financing.

It also described the inclusion of long-term rediscount loans provided by Eximbank and commercial banks. The announcement concerns specified loan types; it does not remove every tax on all commercial lending.
