Brazil’s federal data-processing company Serpro said on October 9 that registration had opened for the II Serpro AI Week 2026. The technical event, scheduled for November 4–6, will examine how public institutions can retain oversight of data, models and infrastructure used in artificial-intelligence systems.

The three-day programme assigns strategic questions to November 4, cloud and infrastructure to November 5, and applications to November 6. It is planned at Serpro’s Brasília headquarters and online, with in-person attendance capped at 100 people per day. This is an event announcement; Serpro did not report deploying a new public-sector AI system.
