Blue Star Gold said drilling at its Roma Project in Nunavut extended the known Ataani volcanogenic massive-sulphide system. All three 2026 holes at Ataani intersected sulphide mineralization. The company also completed first-pass drilling at four regional targets: Stu, South, Cairo and Juno.
Hole 26RHD003, drilled about 50 metres south of the 2024 discovery hole, returned 27.17 metres grading 1.19 g/t gold equivalent, including 2.82 metres at 3.66 g/t. A separate 0.80-metre interval returned 8.16 g/t gold equivalent. Core intervals are downhole lengths; true widths have not been determined. The company said a South target conductor identified by downhole electromagnetic surveying remains untested.
