Baker Hughes announced a multi-year contract with Kuwait Oil Company for Ahmadi Innovation Valley on August 11, 2026. The collaboration focuses on developing and deploying technologies for upstream oil and gas operations.

The company plans a dedicated research and technology development centre in Kuwait. Digital automation will address production performance, operating costs, produced water and energy consumption. No contract value was disclosed, and the centre was described as a future commitment rather than a completed facility.
