A programme connecting eight Atlantic Canadian food and beverage companies with buyers in the United Kingdom and France was announced on October 20. Led by Taste of Nova Scotia, it receives CAD 101,500 from ACOA and CAD 43,500 from the four Atlantic provincial governments, for CAD 145,000 in total support.

The programme combines sales meetings in the United Kingdom with buyer contacts at SIAL Paris. Products include wine, bakery goods, seafood and blueberries. The release’s sales expectations represent anticipated business rather than export revenue already earned.
