Asyad and OQAE sign preliminary hydrogen offtake terms in Oman

The proposed supply model links a Duqm refuelling station with a vehicle fleet.

Asyad’s September 7 release announces a term sheet with OQ Alternative Energy towards long-term hydrogen offtake. The proposal covers more than 91,000 kilograms of low-carbon hydrogen annually through a dedicated Duqm refuelling station.

Once operational, the station is expected to support 8–10 heavy-duty trucks daily. Asyad estimates displacement of approximately 1,100 litres of conventional fuel a day. These figures are expectations for the proposed arrangement, rather than completed deliveries or savings already measured.
