Vinland Lithium said it began a fall ground exploration program at its Killick project in southwestern Newfoundland. The company plans to follow earlier lithium-bearing float discoveries at Kraken West and South, map tungsten targets across its land package, and sample for gold and tungsten potential along the Gunflap Hills Fault Zone.
The announcement refers to historical results from 2025 and earlier; these are not results from the new program. Follow-up drilling on targets is planned for 2027 and has not yet occurred. The company also said it is continuing a research partnership with St. Francis Xavier University, Memorial University and the Newfoundland Geological Survey on lithium pegmatites in the region.
