Uzbekistan industrial output rises 8 percent through August

Industrial output reached UZS 926.5 trillion in January–August 2026, the National Statistics Committee said. The country had 65,300 operating industrial enterprises as of 1 September.

Uzbekistan's industrial output reached UZS 926.5 trillion in the first eight months of 2026, an 8 percent increase from the same period a year earlier. The National Statistics Committee also reported per-capita industrial output of UZS 24.1 million.

The committee's 2 October release said 65,300 industrial enterprises were operating in the country as of 1 September 2026. The output figure covers the eight-month period, while the enterprise count is a point-in-time measure.
