Al Ain camel festival sets AED2.7 million in cash prizes for final races

The committee allocated a combined AED2.7 million in cash to the winners of four open races during the October 3–8 finals.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office said on October 1 that final competitions for the second Al Ain Camel Racing Festival would take place at Al Rawda Racetrack from October 3 to 8, 2026. The organising committee listed cash prizes for four race winners: AED500,000 for Bakkar Romooz, AED400,000 for Jeadan Romooz, AED1 million for Houl Open and AED800,000 for Zomool Open.

Those four cash awards total AED2.7 million; in-kind prizes such as cups and rifles are excluded. The amounts were set ahead of the programme, which is scheduled to conclude on October 8; the source does not report completed races or prizes already paid.
