Türkiye’s Presidency of Strategy and Budget published its Medium-Term Programme for 2027–2029 on 6 September, setting out macroeconomic projections and policy priorities. The accompanying statement estimates growth at 3.3% for 2026 and projects 4.2% in 2027, 4.6% in 2028 and 5% in 2029.

The programme’s year-end inflation estimate for 2026 is 28.4%. It projects the rate easing to 21% in 2027, 13.5% in 2028 and 9% in 2029. These figures are programme projections and targets; they should not be presented as realised growth, inflation or export results.
