The Mae Fah Luang Foundation reported on 28 October that it supported Bangkok Climate Action Week with sustainability activities held from 3 to 11 October. The programme covered waste management, urban forests, biodiversity and circular fashion, drawing on experience from its Doi Tung Development Project.

An event on 5 October examined how separated waste moves through collection and treatment. The foundation presented a pilot covering floors 20–25 of WHA Tower from January to August 2026. It reported a 66.96% recycling rate, above a 50% target, and a reduction of 7.7 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent.

Those are results reported by the foundation for the defined pilot area, rather than city-wide outcomes or an independent assessment. Other activities explored small urban forests and more efficient use of fashion materials. The foundation also said it supplied forest carbon credits to support the event’s net-zero target; the account does not independently verify the event’s overall carbon balance.
