Olive presses in Al-Jouf began receiving harvests and processing olives into oil this October, the Saudi Press Agency reported on October 20. The report described the process at Al-Jawbah Press, from cleaning and washing the fruit through extraction, purification and packaging.

The Al-Jouf Olive Producers Association chairman told SPA that the region has more than 30 million olive trees across over 20,000 hectares, with an estimated value of about SAR500 million. He said olive production exceeded 160,000 tonnes in 2025, including about 25,000 tonnes of olive oil, compared with roughly 3,000 tonnes of oil in 2006. These are attributed estimates and historical figures, not a 2026 harvest result. The report does not explicitly state the geographical coverage of the historical output figures.
