Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet approved a headquarters agreement between the government and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) to open an office in the Kingdom at its 20 October meeting. It also approved a cybersecurity memorandum of understanding between the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) and UNITAR’s Cybersecurity Office.
The Cabinet separately welcomed an OIC foreign ministers’ decision to establish a council of ministers for cybersecurity and designate Riyadh as the headquarters of its secretariat and executive office. That separate decision was made by the OIC foreign ministers, not by the Saudi Cabinet.
