Saipem and Jan De Nul announced a September 10 letter of intent with ExxonMobil Moçambique for Rovuma LNG offshore works. Initial engineering, procurement and technical services total approximately €11 million.

The final EPCI contract depends on a positive investment decision and approvals. The proposed infrastructure would connect 18 subsea wells to the onshore LNG facility; the announcement does not establish that the final contract is effective.
