The Bank of Russia described different drivers of September prices in regional bulletins published on October 16. Bashkortostan recorded a monthly rise of 0.40% and annual inflation of 5.18%. The corresponding readings were 0.54% and 7.83% in Perm, and 0.58% and 6.77% in Sverdlovsk. Monthly changes compare with August; annual changes compare with September 2025.

In its assessment based on Rosstat data, the bank highlighted reduced supplies of some foods and consumer electronics in Bashkortostan. Greater food supply lowered food prices in Perm, while ruble depreciation affected non-food goods. Motor fuel, smartphones, televisions and education fees stood out in Sverdlovsk; the bank linked its seasonally adjusted acceleration to unstable fuel deliveries and vocational education fees. These readings cover separate regional consumer baskets and should not be interpreted as national inflation or live commodity prices.
