RailTel Corporation of India reported operating revenue of ₹1,146.14 crore for the July–September quarter, up from ₹951.36 crore a year earlier, while profit after tax declined to ₹68.56 crore from ₹76.07 crore. The board approved the unaudited results on 25 October after an audit committee review, according to its filing with the National Stock Exchange. The figures cover the quarter ended 30 September 2026.

The company’s statement, prepared in lakh rupees, lists total income of ₹1,149.06 crore for the quarter, compared with ₹965.74 crore in the same period last year. Total expenses rose to ₹1,024.59 crore from ₹844.31 crore. The difference between income and expenses is reflected in profit before tax of ₹92.30 crore, against ₹105.30 crore a year earlier; the filing separately lists exceptional items and tax expenses.

The first half of the financial year showed a different mix of growth and earnings pressure. For the six months through September, operating revenue was ₹2,039.41 crore, against ₹1,695.17 crore in the previous-year period. Profit after tax was ₹134.34 crore, down from ₹142.17 crore. RailTel reports two operating segments, Telecom Services and Project Work Services, and says its operations are within India.

The board also declared an interim dividend of ₹1 for each equity share, equal to 10% of paid-up share capital at the stated face value. It set 30 October as the record date and 20 November as the payment date. Those dates and the dividend are board decisions; the results filing does not forecast future earnings or indicate whether later dividends will be declared.

The financial statements are unaudited and accompanied by a limited-review report, rather than a full-year audit opinion. The filing says the board approved the results following the audit committee’s recommendation and notes that branch results from three regions were reviewed by branch auditors. Revenue and profit comparisons describe company performance over matching reporting periods and do not, by themselves, establish the cause of the profit decline. The filing does not label this result set as standalone or consolidated, so the figures are reported without assigning either scope.
