Oman economy grows 5.1% in the second quarter of 2026
Oman's real gross domestic product at constant prices rose 5.1% year on year in the second quarter of 2026 to approximately OMR 9.9 billion. Citing National Centre for Statistics and Information data, Qatar News Agency reported growth of 14.7% in petroleum activities and 0.7% in non-petroleum activities.

Qatar News Agency reported on 4 October that NCSI preliminary data put real GDP at approximately OMR 9.9 billion in the second quarter, up from about OMR 9.4 billion in the same quarter of 2025. The report specifies that these are constant-price figures.
Activity groups moved at different rates: petroleum activities grew 14.7% year on year, while non-petroleum activities rose 0.7%. Those rates compare the second quarter with the corresponding quarter a year earlier; the reported subgroup amounts should not be treated as additive components of total GDP.
