NVIDIA said on October 13 that it would donate compute valued at US$250 million over five years to support UK research into agentic AI safety and security. The company said access worth US$50 million annually would mainly support the wider research community, with a portion backing BOLD, led by the University of Oxford; SOFAIR, led by UCL; and Imperial College London.

The planned access would be delivered through UK-based NVIDIA cloud partners, with infrastructure hosted in the country. The announcement says provider selection, technical architecture and commercial terms remain to be agreed, so it does not describe a completed infrastructure service.
