The agreement would cover the first 15 years if the Elk Creek project reaches production; that remains contingent on financing and construction.

NioCorp said on October 13 it had signed a definitive binding sales agreement with Traxys. If Elk Creek enters production, Traxys would take 50% of planned ferroniobium output during the first 15 years.

An existing ThyssenKrupp contract covers the other 50% of planned output for the first 10 years. Traxys also receives a 15-year global marketing right for scandium, titanium and rare-earth products, but deliveries depend on financing, construction and a production start.
