Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP) said in an October 11 notice that Manzanillo International Airport (ZLO) would remain closed to all operations until 14:00 local time that day. The operator linked the decision to weather conditions associated with Hurricane Simón and an extension of the official aviation notice (NOTAM) issued by Mexico’s Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC).

The notice covers every type of airport operation, rather than passenger flights alone. GAP gave 14:00 as the planned end of the closure; it did not say that the airport had reopened after that time or identify specific flight cancellations.
