KBR wins Antarctic support contract with $8 billion ceiling

KBR’s June 3 announcement says Mission Technology Solutions received a 20-year Antarctic science and engineering support contract from NSF. The IDIQ ceiling is $8 billion.

A ceiling is not a firm order value or realised revenue. The work concerns research-station operations and support, rather than an oil or power-plant EPC award. Maintenance and logistics coordination are central to delivery in remote locations.
