The company said the program, which began on October 14, aims to increase the area tested by drilling from 1.2 km² to 3.55 km². Step-out holes will test extensions of the Main Layer and other gold-bearing conglomerate horizons.

The effort to extend the area drilled at Pardo is separate from the maiden resource estimate targeted for mid-November. Inventus is also evaluating ore sorting and direct-shipping options for the Matinenda conglomerate, while noting that further testing and commercial assessment are required.
