India has extended media accreditation applications for the 57th International Film Festival of India until 4 November 2026, the information and broadcasting ministry announced on 28 October. The festival is scheduled for 20–28 November in Panaji, Goa.

Media professionals can apply through the official Press Information Bureau accreditation portal and must upload the required documents. Those registered for the previous festival edition can use their existing credentials and update their documents as needed.

Accreditation provides access to festival coverage activities including screenings, discussions and interactions with filmmakers. The ministry also pointed non-media film enthusiasts to the separate delegate registration process. Extending the deadline gives applicants more time; it does not mean every application has already been approved.
