The Gulf Cooperation Council’s gross domestic product at current prices reached about $2.4 trillion in 2025. Secretary-General Jasem Albudaiwi cited data from the GCC Statistical Center at a ministerial preparatory committee meeting in Manama on October 11, saying the bloc ranked ninth globally by combined economic size.
The figures showed non-oil activities contributed about 79 percent of GDP, intra-GCC exports exceeded $177 billion and intra-GCC investment stock was above $171 billion. These are 2025 totals for the six-member bloc, not results for any one member state. Albudaiwi described completing the customs union and common market as part of the regional economic-integration agenda.
