Reported net income was 399.9 million dollars, or 9.04 dollars per diluted share. It included a 34.0 million dollar non-cash impairment of identifiable intangible assets, equal to 24.7 million dollars after tax. Excluding that impairment, non-GAAP net income was 424.7 million dollars, or 9.60 dollars per share.

Remaining performance obligations were 18.57 billion dollars at 30 September, compared with 12.61 billion dollars a year earlier. The company forecast annual revenue of 20.6–21.0 billion dollars. The order obligations represent work still to be performed across contracts, rather than revenue already recognised or a single new EPC award.
