Emaar, The Economic City (EEC) announced on 14 September 2026 that it signed an Infrastructure Development Agreement on 13 September 2026 with Automotive Solutions Company for Logistics Services (Masarat Mobility Park). EEC will design, construct and deliver the additional infrastructure works required to provide utilities for the Masarat project within the King Salman Automotive cluster in the Special Economic Zone at King Abdullah Economic City. The contractual amount is SAR 152 million, excluding VAT.

The parties to EEC’s June 2023 industrial land sale agreements later formed Masarat Mobility Park to develop secondary infrastructure and an industrial logistics hub in the zone. The new agreement follows its request for utility capacity beyond what those agreements contemplated. In an addendum on 15 September 2026, EEC said the works are to be completed within 27 months from the commencement date, which is the business day after EEC receives the full contract sum from Masarat Mobility Park.

EEC said the financial impact is expected to be reflected in its results from the third quarter of 2026. It noted that Masarat is a joint venture that includes TASARU Mobility Investments, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, which is one of EEC’s major shareholders.
