Egypt frozen vegetable exports reach $207 million in 2025

Egypt’s Food Industries Export Council said exports of frozen vegetables, excluding potatoes and several other products, were about $207 million in 2025. The council said five leading markets accounted for roughly half of the total.

Data published by the council put exports of the specified frozen-vegetable category at about 171,000 tonnes in 2025. Egypt ranked eighth among global exporters and accounted for about 4% of world exports.

Saudi Arabia was the largest destination market, at about $32 million or 16% of the total. The United States, Italy, Spain and Russia followed. These figures cover the product category defined by the council and exclude the products it lists separately.
