DEWA reports Dubai solar park capacity at 3,860 MW

The September update distinguishes current capacity from the 2030 expansion target.

DEWA’s September 6 release lists the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park’s current production capacity at 3,860 MW. The utility expects capacity to exceed 8,000 MW by 2030.

The statement accompanied preparations for the Dubai Environment Conference and Exhibition. It also outlined Dubai’s strategy for clean sources to supply all energy production capacity by 2050. Current park capacity, future expansion expectations and the citywide target are distinct measures.
