Coty said on 21 October that its fiscal 2026 sustainability report records validation by the Science Based Targets initiative of its net-zero 2050 target. The target commits the company to cut absolute Scope 1, 2 and 3 greenhouse-gas emissions 90% by 2050 from an FY19 baseline.

The company also reported reductions from FY19 of 83% in Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 29% in Scope 3 emissions and 30% in water withdrawal. Virgin plastic use was down 53%, toward a 60% reduction goal for 2030. Coty said this was its second report prepared under the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
