Canadian Goldfields Discovery announced on 2 September that it had completed its first diamond drilling programme at the Swayze Central Gold Project in Ontario. The company said six holes totalling 1,422 metres tested priority targets.
A parallel soil-geochemistry survey had collected 1,808 B-horizon samples and covered about 113 line-kilometres. The company said it would report results when assays arrive; the release does not establish a resource or reserve.
