Barcelona’s culture institute ICUB said in its October 18 closing release that the fifth Biennal de Pensament brought together more than 50 activities and about 100 speakers over six days. Discussions on housing, climate, migration, democracy and urban life took place in public spaces across different neighbourhoods.

This edition added venues including Nou Barris’s main square and the shaded structure in Glòries park. ICUB said weather alerts required some activities to move indoors, reducing capacity. The closing programme at the CCCB was to include readings of letters exchanged by writers from different countries about life in the city.
