AWS published instructions for using Amazon Bedrock global cross-Region inference profiles for OpenAI’s GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna from source Regions in Singapore, Jakarta, Malaysia, Thailand and Taipei. The post lists the GPT-6 Astra profile only for Singapore as the source Region.

The guide covers example calls through the Converse API, OpenAI-compatible APIs and clients, as well as IAM, organization service control policies, quotas and monitoring. “Global” routing means processing may occur in supported commercial AWS Regions where the model is deployed; it does not promise regional data processing. AWS says profile and Region support can change and advises checking model cards before implementation.
