Alkane Resources’ 23 October quarterly report recorded 39,823 ounces of gold and 396 tonnes of antimony produced in the September quarter. The company calculated these as 40,740 gold-equivalent ounces under its own formula, which combines commodities using assumed prices and a 70% payability factor for antimony.
The company’s Australian operations are Tomingley in New South Wales and Costerfield in Victoria; its third operating mine, Björkdal, is in Sweden. The report’s group totals therefore cover more than Australia, and should not be described as Australian-only production.
Alkane reported quarterly gold-equivalent sales of 38,348 ounces and revenue of A$206 million. Its release cited average realized sales prices of A$5,128 per ounce for gold and A$23,842 per tonne for antimony. These are company sales measures, not global spot prices.
Mine operating cash flow was A$102 million for the quarter. The company defines this measure as revenue less cash costs, royalties, working-capital movements and foreign-exchange effects, while excluding interest received, income tax and sustaining, growth and exploration capital expenditure.
Cash and bullion totaled A$440 million at quarter-end; including listed investments, the balance was A$459 million. Alkane said it paid its first fully franked dividend of two Australian cents a share and reaffirmed its FY27 production and cost guidance.
Guidance remains 163,000–177,000 gold-equivalent ounces at an all-in sustaining cost of A$2,900–3,200 per ounce. The company says AISC is a non-IFRS measure without a standardized meaning. Its gold-equivalent figure is also company-defined, so the underlying gold and antimony quantities should remain visible alongside it.
The quarter’s reported gold-equivalent measure combines physical gold and antimony output using Alkane’s stated conversion assumptions; it should not be read as a simple sum of the two metals. The company applies 70% payability to antimony in that calculation. The reported equivalent therefore depends on a company-specific method and is not directly comparable with another producer’s gold-equivalent figure unless its assumptions match.
The report covers a group with operations in Australia and Sweden, so its consolidated production and cash totals do not describe Australian mines alone. Revenue and cash-flow figures are historical quarterly results, while the annual production and cost ranges are guidance for FY27. The distinction matters because changes in realised prices, operating performance or exchange rates can affect full-year outcomes.
The dividend and guidance are separate from quarterly production: the dividend was paid during the period, while the FY27 range remains forward-looking.
The cash and bullion balance is not the same as operating cash generated during the quarter; the report lists those measures separately, alongside listed investments.

Methodology
Production figures are company-reported group totals that include a Swedish mine. Gold-equivalent ounces use Alkane’s disclosed formula and are not pure gold ounces. Cash and bullion is distinct from the larger figure that includes listed investments. These are Alkane group totals across Australia and Sweden, not Australian national totals. World denotes the company’s cross-country scope. Figures with units absent from the current data registry remain in the narrative and are not recast as other quantities.
