Aptiv announced on 21 October an expanded collaboration with NVIDIA to develop scalable, production-ready automated-driving solutions. The effort brings NVIDIA Hyperion and the NVIDIA Halos safety system into Aptiv’s modular compute architecture.

The companies say the approach is intended to support different AI models, sensors and vehicle architectures while reducing system cost and complexity. One example is support for NVIDIA Thor-based computing with air cooling. Aptiv expects to demonstrate the capabilities at CES 2027; the announcement does not identify a production vehicle or launch date.
