After its earlier intention-to-float announcement, Airtel Money fixed the offer price at £1.96 a share on October 1. The company said the price implied an estimated market capitalisation of about £5.3 billion (approximately US$7 billion).

Existing shareholders plan to sell 270 million shares, with an option for up to 27 million additional shares. The IFC committed to invest up to £67.2 million (about US$90 million). The stated valuation and free-float estimates depend on the offer assumptions; admission was expected on October 14.
