Adamera Minerals said on October 1 that it had completed a preliminary inspection of the historic workings at its wholly owned Talisman project in Washington state. JDS Energy & Mining examined the portal, adit and accessible underground areas; the visit identified no water issue or condition that would prevent safe re-entry at this preliminary stage.

The company described the rock as competent and said only minor ground support may be needed to restore safe access. Scheelite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite were visually observed in the adit; these observations are not grade assays. A detailed engineering assessment is required before more advanced underground work.

Data

Key figures

Depth comparison cited in the initial Talisman inspection

The company’s magnetic inversion model indicates the magnetic body extends below the depth previously mined.

Methodology

About 30 metres is the stated historical mining depth; extension beyond 200 metres is the company’s model interpretation, not a resource or grade finding.
