Biodiversa+ opens research call on novel ecosystems with about €40 million

The Biodiversa+ partnership launched its BiodivFuture research call on 9 September to study “novel ecosystems”: ecosystems that differ from an area’s historical conditions, often because of human influence, and are unlikely to return to those conditions. The call has a total budget of about €40 million.
