# UNICEF pede investimento nas crianças e ação contra casamento infantil em Bangladesh

> Após visita a Bangladesh, a diretora executiva do UNICEF, Catherine Russell, pediu investimentos para manter meninas na escola e prevenir o casamento infantil. A pesquisa MICS de 2025 citada pelo UNICEF constatou que 47,2% das mulheres de 20 a 24 anos se casaram antes dos 18.
