L’Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) a signé un accord avec The Boring Company pour étudier des solutions de transport souterrain, de tunnels de services publics et d’infrastructures connexes dans l’émirat. Signée lors de LIVEX 2026 le 8 octobre, l’initiative prévoit un dialogue technique sur la faisabilité, la réalisation et les modèles d’exploitation.

Le communiqué annonce une étude exploratoire, sans décision ni calendrier de construction. Le portefeuille d’infrastructures supervisé par ADPIC dépasse 56 milliards USD et le centre a soutenu la livraison de 100 projets d’investissement en 2025. Le partenariat prévoit un échange de compétences en planification de tunnels, sécurité, automatisation et ingénierie numérique, ainsi que le développement de capacités locales.
