# Yaroslavl fruit and vegetable prices fell as eggs and education rose in September

The consumer price index in Yaroslavl Region rose 0.5% in September 2026 from August, according to a report Yaroslavlstat published on October 12. Food prices fell 0.1%, while non-food goods rose 0.8% and paid services 1.0%.

Prices fell by 2% to 20% for almost all fruit and vegetable products; eggs rose 5.8%, while bread, fish and seafood, meat and poultry increased by more than 1%. Back-to-school education services rose: preschool by 11.8%, secondary education by 16.4%, vocational training by 8.5% and higher education by 16.8%.
