The investment is in the Emerging Asia Infrastructure Credit Fund, a privately managed vehicle established under a Singapore government initiative and managed by Global Infrastructure Partners, part of BlackRock. The fund is targeting US$750 million; this is a fundraising target, not a reported amount already raised. IFC is investing up to US$50 million alongside JICA.
