# Vår Energi reports third-quarter production of 369,000 boe per day

Norwegian oil and gas company Vår Energi reported on 12 October that third-quarter production of oil, liquids and natural gas averaged 369,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. That was 2% below the second quarter and flat from the same period a year earlier.

The company put 2026 production guidance at around 390,000 boe per day, compared with its previous range of 390,000–410,000. It cited July operational issues at Johan Castberg and Jotun and irregularities in the Åsgard area, saying the main impacts were not reservoir-related. The figures are from the company’s preliminary trading update.
