# Uzbekistan receives 28,200 visitors from Italy in eight months

Uzbekistan's National Statistics Committee reported that approximately 28,200 Italian citizens visited the country for tourism purposes in January–August 2026. The release listed 26,900 tourism visits, 668 business trips and 543 visits to relatives.

The committee's 5 October breakdown also recorded 70 visitors for education and three for commercial purposes. The total is approximate, so its rounded figure need not equal the sum of the detailed categories exactly.
