UNESCO named Finland’s Generation AI and Brazil’s Redação Paraná as the 2026 laureates of its ICT in Education Prize. They were selected from more than 100 nominations submitted by Member States and partner organizations.

Generation AI materials have been accessed more than 200,000 times across over 50 countries, and its workshops and school interventions involved 1,500 students and teachers. The prize recognizes education initiatives using AI to support creativity and critical thinking.
