# Scottie Resources raises C$21.38 million in placement closings

Scottie Resources said on October 9 that it had closed its previously announced brokered private placement and the initial tranche of a non-brokered offering. It issued a combined 7,359,870 common and flow-through shares for gross proceeds of C$21,382,465.40, including 194,212 flow-through shares. Brokered shares were priced at C$2.90 each and flow-through shares at C$3.10.

The company plans to use flow-through proceeds for eligible exploration expenses at the Scottie Gold Mine project in British Columbia, and other net proceeds for working capital, technical studies and permitting. A second and final non-brokered tranche of about C$2.6 million was expected around October 14; both offerings remained subject to final exchange acceptance. The C$21.38 million is therefore the amount closed at that stage, not confirmation that the full offerings were complete.
