Adjusted net income was 16 million dollars, compared with 2 million dollars, and adjusted EBITDA was 51 million dollars, compared with 32 million dollars. Reported diluted earnings were 0.02 dollars per share and adjusted diluted earnings were 0.09 dollars per share. Adjusted measures differ from reported accounting results.

Brokerage volume increased 2% year on year, while truckload volume grew 3%. Spot-market truckload shipments represented 51% of truckload volume, compared with 29% a year earlier. Truckload is part of Brokerage, so the two volume growth rates are different measures rather than additive contributions to total company revenue.
