The Republic of Congo's Council of Ministers approved its 2027 budget proposal for submission to Parliament at its October 7 meeting. The official minutes say the proposal assumes oil production of 105 million barrels in 2026 and 112 million in 2027, with an average 2027 price of US$71 per barrel for Congolese crude. Growth in natural-gas valorization activity is projected at 6.8% in 2027.

At the same meeting, the cabinet adopted a boundary adjustment for state company SNPC's Lidongo production and adjacent Marine XXIX-A exploration permits, and an exceptional extension of Lidongo to September 25, 2046. It also approved new coordinates for ENI Congo-operated Marine XXIV to address a partial overlap with the revised marine boundary of Conkouati-Douli National Park. The budget figures are planning assumptions, not realized output.
