It was signed in Samarkand on 19 October and moves beyond the parties’ November 2025 memorandum of understanding. The parties agreed to a commercial demonstration program using Uzbek-sourced tungsten at ReElement’s US facilities and preliminary engineering and economic modelling for potential refining operations in Uzbekistan. The company said earlier technical work had validated processing the material into high-purity oxide.
